The 2015-16 season will be Tom’s 32nd in the industry. After parting with baseball in college, Tom returned to the Midwest and took a job with one of the largest Sports Services in the nation and never looked back. He spent 12 years fine tuning the art of picking pointspread winners and learned from some of the greatest handicappers. In 1996, Tom finally released his first set of plays to the public and has been a force ever since.

Tom’s first season as a professional handicapper back in ’96 produced a respectable 73-46 ATS football record. The success continued from there. In 2000 and 2001, Tom became the only handicapper to win back-to-back No. 1 titles in College Football as documented by the Sports Monitor of Oklahoma City, OK. Since turning pro, Tom has registered over 40 Top 12 finishes over the past 14 seasons in all sports combined. Tom was also the featured NFL guest handicapper for three years on WTAM radio in Cleveland, Ohio and is the editor of one of the best football newsletters in the industry – The Pre-Game Report.

Tom likes to have the perfect blend of emotional, statistical and technical support to back up his investments. Twenty-seven years of experience has taught Tom to dot every “I” and cross every “t” and never leave a stone unturned when in pursuit of a winning selection. Back in the early ‘90s, Tom helped assemble one of the most powerful football and basketball databases in the industry and he used this incredible tool daily as a part of his handicapping arsenal. After running years of searches and queries, Tom has put together one of the strongest system books in the nation carrying over 100 situations that all hold ATS records topping the 90 percent plateau.

Tom’s late phone plays are rated 1* to 5* with a 5* being the highest. 5* = This 5* selection is an elite selection from Tom. There may only be two or three of these per month. 4* = Normally, Tom’s top play of the week will receive a 4* rating. During football, basketball and baseball, there could be an average of two to four of these late phone service plays weekly. 3* = This is an average play for Tom and his most common rating on game.

Located in the Midwest just a few miles from the University of Notre Dame’s campus, Tom is tuned into the Irish as well as the Big Ten and Mac Conferences. College Football, Major League Baseball, College Basketball and the NBA and NFL Playoffs are considered Tom’s strengths. But, keep in mind, a profitable run can happen at any time in any sport when Tom gets into one of his handicapping “zones”. Here is a recent one:

Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest football coaches ever, once said, “The harder you work the harder it is to surrender.” No one burns the midnight oil more than Tom and his dedicated work ethic keeps him one step ahead of the competition. Remember, each selection you receive from Tom comes with 32 years or experience, professionalism and effort.

Al has one of the best basketball records over the past 15 seasons, and was ranked #1 in baseball for the 1996 and 2001 seasons. Indeed, the Las Vegas Sporting News recognized Al in its December 17, 1996 issue, and wrote that: "[Al's] honesty, integrity, [and] skills...are obvious....We have been impressed by [his] uncanny ability to pick big underdogs that win the game straight-up....We've seen handicappers come and go, and get hot and cold, but no one has been as consistent over time as McMordie, and we strongly urge you to consider him as your handicapper."

Besides being a champion handicapper, Al McMordie is a corporate attorney, earning his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan.

My Handicapping and Betting Philosophy: I use my own unique power ratings for each sport along with trend analysis, stats and line value. I take a different approach for every sport I handicap. Keep in mind that you should think long-term profit. You're not going to win every day, every week or even every month. If you follow my selections exactly as I release them, you will make a good long term profit in all sports and that has been proven with my results over the years. Also, don't forget how important money management and discipline is in making serious money in this business.

My Special Achievements in Handicapping: I was the No. 1 documented "Overall Handicapper" in 2004 at Professional Handicappers League. I was part of a team of experts that finished No. 2 in the famous Las Vegas Hilton NFL Superbook Contest in 2003 winning $83,300 - finishing a half point out of first place. I have also had several No. 1 finishes in various sports and numerous Top 5 and Top 10 finishes at several monitors.

My Most Memorable Moment: I won 17-straight NBA games a few years ago. Biggest Win of my Career: I feel like every win is a big one. Back in 1998, Denver started the season off 13-0. Denver then had to play at the NY Giants whose record was 5-8 at the time. Denver was installed as 12 1/2 point road favorite. I told my clients that the NY Giants would beat Denver outright and they won the game straight up 20-16. After I released, I don't think I had ever had so many clients call the office asking me if I had lost my mind but we cashed once again.

Toughest Loss of my Career: I had a huge play on Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football a few years back and I think they were playing Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Tampa Bay had a huge lead of around 17 points or so and blew it and the cover with less than four minutes left in the game.

Favorite Team(s) to Play or Fade: I really don't have a favorite team to play or fade. During the season you will find teams to play on or to fade until the oddsmakers catch up with you. Everyday gives you a unique opportunity and I never know if I will play 10 games or pass until the card is handicapped thoroughly.

What You Can Expect From Me: I am very selective with my premium plays. I research the entire card finding the plays that make me a winner year after year. I am one of the few honest services in the business filled with scammers. My ability to pick winners consistently is second to none and with my money management system you will maximize your profits week in week out.
